Birdane Doğrukol was born and raised in İzmit, Turkey. She moved to Seattle in 2005 and later opened Bodrum Bistro. Chef Doğrukol is proud of her genuine Anatolian cuisine, and best known for her traditional Mantı, tiny Turkish dumplings, and extraordinary Baklava, sweet and rich Turkish pastry.
